After the government’s norms hit on April 01st, 2019, which made the application of CBS/ABS mandatory on every bike. While most of the bikes have been amended with the law, there are a few which are lagging behind. Amongst the lot is Bajaj Pulsar NS160. However, things are about to change. Registered dealership have stated that the 2019 variant of the NS160 will be upgraded with a single channel ABS. Rest, will continue to be the same.
Powering the NS 160 is a 160.3 cc, single cylinder motor that produces15.5 hp of power at 8,500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The current Pulsar 160NS comes with an ex showroom price tag of Rs. 85,939. With the addition of a single channel ABS, one can expect a price hike of Rs. 10,000. The updated NS160 ABS will roll out by the end of May, 2019. Till then, the dealers will clear out the stocks of non-ABS variant.
