2019 Honda CB300R Booking Commences On 15th January

Honda breaks news about launching the entry level naked sports CB300R in January 2019. The company was earlier considering bringing the bike somewhere towards the fourth quarter of the year, and same was a speculated news. However, what came as a surprise, company confirmed that the bike will be launched in January 2019.
The retro modern street naked bike packs in a 286 cc single cylinder engine, which is capable of producing 31.5 PS of power and 27 Nm of torque output. The bike also gets a new tubular steel frame, steel plate swingarm, sports upside down front forks and a preload adjustable rear monoshock. The bike also gets a 41mm USD forks combined with a 5 stage preload, rear shock. The bike also features a radial-mounted, 4 piston calliper, wave-style disc brake along with dual channel ABS.
The CB300R is based on Honda’s Neo Sport Cafe design concept, which was showcased in Tokyo and resembles its elder CB1000R sibling. The bike features a simple yet attractive, masculine design. The CB300R bears a chiselled fuel tank with contrasting paint on tank extension, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the bike.
The bike gets an attractive LED headlight and taillight along with full digital console with gear indication unit built in. However, the biggest let down is in form of the fuel tank capacity, as the CB300R only gets a 10 litre fuel carrying capacity.
The bike will be offered in two colours : Matte Grey and Glossy Red . Booking for the 2019 Honda CB300R will open online from 15th January with delivers to commence from 2019 April. The bike is expected to come with an ex showroom cost of Rs. 2.5 lakh and will rival the likes of Bajaj Dominar 400, KTM 390 Duke, KTM RC 390, Apache 310R and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
