Triumph has launched its Tiger 800’s range topper XCA variant at an ex showroom price tag of Rs. 15.16 lakhs. The Tiger 800 range consists of XR, XRx and the XCx trims, and now the XCA sits at top. The Tiger 800 XCA is an off-road-biased motorcycle.
The bike remains nearly identical to its other variants in terms of aesthetics, however, there are few features which are reserved for the XCA time. Features include a full LED headlamp, backlit switchgear, a centre stand, an aluminium sump guard, an aluminium radiator guard and CNC machined footrests. On creature comforts the lists extends with heat seats, display toggle options and a pair of LED auxiliary lamps. The bike comes with six rider modes – Road, Off-road, Off-Road Pro, Sport, Track and an additional Rider Customisable.
Powering the bike is the same inline three cylinder motor which produces 95 hp of power at 9,500 rpm and 79 Nm at 8,050 rpm. The bike gets same set of wheels at 21 inch / 17 inch front / rear respectively as seen on the Xcx variant. However, the WP 43 mm USD fork and monoshock at rear takes care of the suspension duties. A 305 mm Brembo two-piston calipers disc up front and a 255 mm Nissin single-piston caliper setup at rear takes care of the braking duties.
The XCA goes up against the likes of the BMW F 850 GS Pro Rallye, TFT Display trim (Rs. 15.30 lakh, ex showroom) .
