Blu Smart Services Launched In Delhi-NCR

On the eve of World Environment Day, Ahmedabad based renewable energy services subsidiary, Gensol Mobility, launched its all electric ‘Blu Smart’ mobility platform in Delhi-NCR in partnership with Mahindra Electric. The first of its kind in India, the platform bundles services like ride hailing, car sharing and shared charging into a single platform. As part of the service, people can register and book abs through ‘Blu Smart Mobility’ app for inter as well as intra city rides, with latter coming into phase in next few months. The company has about 70 fleet of Mahindra eVeritos at the time of launch and will add another 500 by April 2020. The absence of surge price with a flat rate of Rs. 14-15 per kilometre, is the biggest user drawing techniques. 

The company further plans to expand its range by leasing, renting luxury EV on monthly or daily basis which will include BMW i3, Hyundai Kona and likes of Nissan Leaf. The company claims to encourage active participation of masses for electric future. Blu Smart services will now expand its services in the National Capital Region, including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, with Mumbai planned for next year.
