It’s another 1-2 finish for the Mercedes, with Lewis Hamilton taking the lead followed by his teammate Bottas. After suffering from an underwhelming season opening race in Australia, Ferrari set its tine straight for the Bahrain Grand Prix. Locking the front row in all three practice sessions. Unfortunately, the luck ran out for the team on the final day. When Vettle spun on turn 4, while going head on against Hamilton, loosing his font wing in process. And, his teammate Leclerc suffered a power unit issue. Leclerc managed to bag the 3rd position while Vettle after the incident claimed 5th position from 9th. Max Verstappen from RedBull Racing Honda managed to maintain 4th position. Leclerc also gained an extra point for setting the fastest lap time.
The next Formula 1 2019 will be staged at China, scheduled between 12 – 14 April, 2019.
