Williams Racing will compete in the 2019 Formula 1 championship with a new title sponsor, ROKiT. ROKiT is a Britain based telecommunication which has partnered with Williams Racing as a from of sponsorship in a multi year deal. This new partnership was announced by Williams Racing at their HQ located in Grove. The company alongside the announcement unveiled the livery for the year 2019.
Earlier, Martini used to be the title spooner for the brand. The sponsorship lasted for good 5 years, until 2018, when Martini decided to withdraw its sponsorship form the Williams Racing. The blue-white-red colour combination has given way to a simpler light blue-white combo livery for coming season.
The company will take the wraps off its new 2019 challenger only at the pre-season test in Spain, next week. The team gets a new lineup with Robert Kubica and George Russell as the team’s chief drivers. Kubica is making his return after a span of 8 years and Russell is a reigning championship holder in Formula 2 championship.
