Honda is set to reveal a new global lineup for the year 2020. The scalable setup will include new future generation car setup which will share 70 percent of its parts from the existing platforms. Honda may be hinting towards the direction of an electric jaded future which can possible include a crossover platform from traditional to new age technologies. The company also stated that with the 70 percent sharing, the manufacturer will be able to save about 30 percent of work force by the year 2025, which can then be utilised in further research and development. The carmaker said that its global model line – which includes cars such as the Jazz, Civic, Accord, HR-V and CR-V would account for a third of its products by 2025. Honda is gearing to launch HR-V in India towards the end of 2019.
