Mahindra Teams Up With Uber To Deploy EVs In Hyderabad

Mahindra has collaborated with Uber n efforts to reduce the carbon footprint. The joint initiative encourages the usage of electric vehicles within the city runs and promotes the usage of electric vehicles as a daily mode of cleaner transportation. The American ride hailing service will induct 50 Mahindra vehicles which includes e20o Plus hatchbacks and eVerito sedans. The companies will extend this partnership to other states post the commencement of operations in Hyderabad. To aid to the initiative, Mahindra collaborated with with public and private players who have set up around 30 charging points across the city to improve on the accessibility of the charging points. Additionally, Uber will be incentivising rides and launch extended membership programmes at nominal rates to their customers on opting for electric vehicles from their fleet.
