Ola To Offer Luxury Self-Drive Subscription Services In India

OLA is in talks with several high brands like Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Jaguar to name a few for launching a very own self drive subscription services in India. The company has initiated its service scheme in Bengaluru and will soon expand to Tier I cities. The company has reportedly invested up to $500 million (approximately Rs. 3,488 crore) into the self-drive service scheme. Reports also suggest that with the new service Ola will be able to tap into another territory apart from cab/commercial transport services. Company claims the appeal of a high end vehicle without the hassle for maintenance of the car appeals the upcoming customers a lot and would like to expand the services based on customer’s feedback. Ola recently entered in partnership with Hyundai and Kia to develop and install EV charging infrastructure across country.
