Suzuki will officially unveil the sportier iteration of its newly launched MPV, Ertiga on march 23, 2019. Tagged as the Ertiga GT, it’ll first be launched at the Indonesian market and will soon follow to our routes.
The Ertiga GT gets a Matte finish exterior finish with a more pronounced atom and rear bumpers. The side body kit around the entire vehicle gives the GT a very sportier appeal. Apart from the kit, the Ertiga GT also gets a roof mounted spoiler with brake light embedded onto it. Additionally, there’s a unique grille and a rear spoiler, along with all black alloy wheels that complete the sportier look. The side kits, bumpers and the spoilers gets a red accent treatment and gets a red GT badging on the exterior to differentiate from the standard one. The interior of the GT will however remain similar to the standard variant except for the use of black seat covers and some minor sportier tweaks and GT branding.
Powering the Ertiga Gt will be a 1.5 litre petrol engine, similar to the one kitted in the India spec model. There’s not much vital information about the launch of GT being surfaced by the company, however, it is believed that the GT will make its way to India somewhere towards the end of the third quarter. The company recently discontinued the base Ldi trim of the MPV and is in the works for launching a six seater variant soon. If launched, the Ertiga GT will be priced approximately Rs. 3.5 lakh costlier over the standard variant.
