Volkswagen has come up with a quirky and ingenious solution to increase its presence in India. Tagged as the ‘Pop Up Showroom’ and ‘City’ store, Volkswagen is levying on this new strategy to gain accessibility and footprint in India. Volkswagen will be inaugurating 30 new ‘Pop-up’ and ‘City’ showrooms across India in the next year. The ‘Pop Up Showroom’ have been aimed for upcoming markets and cities in India which will aim to provide the same premium experience as an established showroom. Volkswagen has already inaugurated the first ‘Pop-up’ showroom at Tumkur, Karnataka. Whereas, the ‘City’ store is aimed towards larger cities and will adopt a more urban, eco friendly, paperless and digital approach while interacting with potential customers. The first Volkswagen ‘City’ store is located on Richmond Road in Bengaluru, Karnataka. However, the two won’t have any after sales service setup.
